OCALA - Brian James Rogers, a 21-year-old man who reportedly told a sheriff's deputy he stole a limousine because he "thought it was cool and felt it might have been some type of answer from God," was arrested Wednesday and charged with auto theft. According to a Sheriff's Office report, the victim, John A. Romero, who owns a limousine company, told Lt. Chris Vorisek he stopped by his home and left the vehicle running while he went inside to pick up a few items. He said when he returned, the limo was missing. Romero reported the incident to the Sheriff's Office at 7:48 p.m.

Vorisek, who was out on patrol, saw the vehicle and stopped it in the 200 block of Northeast 25th Avenue. Rogers was then arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
