A well know Sacramento Limousine Company folds after paychecks bounce.
A limousine company owned by prominent Sacramento Accountant has shut down, leaving more than a dozen employees with bounced paychecks. Luzury Limousines of Sacramento is owned but William R. Murray who has recently been accused of emblezzling millions of dollars from clients of his accounting firm. "The paychecks have been no good for a couple of weeks" says Dan Morris, the fleet manager after depositing a check on Friday and having it bounce back on Tuesday. Although this has been very difficult for many of the drivers laid off, there has been talk about a negotiation with a local company to pick up a few of the drivers affected. Murray has not yet been charged, but the criminal investigation continues and said Murray is cooperating with the government. |
